UHR Presenters MC at Fun Run

Ulster Hospital Radio Presenters Andrew Kane, Leonard Johnston and Nigel Gillespie jumped at the chance the host this years Cancer Research UKs Race For Life.

The series of Fun Runs in aid of cancers which effect the lives of thousands of women is now celebrating its 10th year and this was the second year UHR presenters were asked to help.

Cancer Research UK hope to raise a staggering £17.5 Million over the UK and an amazing £300,000 was hoped to be raised from the Belfast run alone, all the monies raised will go directly to important cancer research and prevention work throughout the UK.

Andy Kane who took centre stage throughout the event said "I really enjoyed the morning, and being asked back again was really nice. The weather was terrible on the day but the atmosphere was amazing."
